Oh yes, sure, as much as Sticky: A beginner's guide to DOSBox is always consulted before posting questions. |

You know they never read the readmes, Luchsen. Methinks, the documentation should be included in a separate file named "Manual". Maybe this would get their attention for a bit. |

I don't want to sound swotty, but if you would have consulted the DOSBox readme, you would have gotten this: Quote:

The keyboardmapping will not always work ingame, so you're better of learning the keys in standard dosbox. Two possibilities to easily resolve this problem: -> or use / instead, does the same as \ in dosbox ( the / in numpadblock) If you're on a laptop without numpadblock simply search for the / or the \ by hitting all keys, try first the ones besides left shift, that's where it usually can be found. US non-shifted: click -> ![]() US shifted click -> ![]() |

Mighty Midget | DOSBox is by default set to US keyboard layout (I think). You can change the keyboard layout in the DOSBox configuration file. Unfortunately, I'm on a borrowed pc at the moment with no DOSBox on it, but there is documentation out there on how to change the keyboard layout. | |

eye_opener's dilemma [a split from the guide] interesting dilemma (to me anyway). Dos box does not recognize my "\" key. Instead it puts "}". Any idea how to fix this problem? |
