The Fifth Horseman | It doesn't matter where you downloaded the archive to, just where you unpack it to.

OtakuGirl85 | It's say on the guide that I have to download Windows 3 to that specific folder, I download it on a flash drive. Can I still extract it to that file where the games are?

This is what Horseman's instructions are precisely about. Here you have them with more detail: http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=27770 |

The Fifth Horseman | It's a 16-bit Windows game. It will work fine on 32-bit versions, but can't be ran directly on 64-bit ones.

* Download this: http://files.abandonia.com/extras/Pr...r%20DOSBox.rar * Unpack the downloaded archive to MSDOSGAMES * Start DOSBox and type in windows to run Windows 3.11 In order to run the game, you have two options. * The first is to use the file File Manager found in the Main group to find and launch the game's executable. * The second is to create a new Program Group in Program Manger (File->New) and then new Program Items (ie shortcuts) in it. You can add them instead to an existing group if you want, it's your choice. Norton Commander is not required, no. |

OtakuGirl85 | The folder name is called MSDOSGAMES and I put all games in that format there. And I have the 0.74 version of DosBox so would it require Norton Commander?

Yes, I can. I assume you have installed DOSBox already. Since you're new to this and appear to be somewhat confused, let's start with the basics and go step by step. First: What are you mounting as the C drive in DOSBOX ? If that question does not seem to make any sense, please go to this part of the Beginner's Guide for an explanation of drive mounting in DOSBox (and this one to learn how to automate it). Note that mounting the root of your system drive as the DOSBox C drive is a BAD idea, and in this case exceptionally so. |
