Millosh_024 | Simple. I was able to use GETRIGHT which gets integrated into the internet explorer upon it's intalation so it doesn't allow the internet explorer to do the download but it takes over...and it shows the full name and location of the file which I then just typed into the Download accelerator (because GETRIGHT just has a "resume" option. No acceleratio) and that's all there is to it. I'm downloading BLOOD OMEN right now...it's 90mb and it's gonna take me some 5-6 hours to do so even with this but without it it would just be impossible so...no other way to do it really but this way...AND I can resume it at any time so...I can do it over the course of a few days. Now,I talked to Kosta and Tom and they said that this is ok...AS LONG AS it is used ONLY for downloads. Be fair and do not abuse the direct link to the game's location.

No. That would enable direct-linking, and leeching. |

Will try what Kosta suggested. Would be lovely if it works. Then again...I don't know why it is impossible to just type in the url location of the file in the manager and do it....if it is in fact, like Kosta says, possible to use it. Ok...ummm....it doesn't work. The accelerator is already set to get those files straight away but the thing is that this site doesn't SHOW those files....that is; it isn't set like...for example... www.abandonia.com/games/adventure/ddt.zip which the download accelerator or whichever would understand and be able to catch. Can't you guys just say where the file is so that those who want to use acclerators can type in the address and get it over with? At least a download mirror or something. |

Kosta | Yes, you just need it to configure it so that it grabs *.zip files before IE / Mozilla do. Probably somewhere in browser integration, and then you usually have a list of extensions that should ALWAYS be downloaded with a manager.
