Have you e-mailed Rockstar (the company)? They may give you some advice or even make a patch. Play it on PS2 much better. |

No way! I had no problems with any of the GTA games os far. I had a little glitch in SA in the Stovaway mission(couldn't get on the plane) but that's about it. I wonder what could be the problem... |

Not all of these glitches can be solved by patches, part of the problem lies with the porting from PS2 to PC this was aldo the problem with GTA 3 and GTA san andreas has the same problems. This is not uncommon in any game ported from console to PC. It's just one of those things you have to learn to live with |

Havell | For the jingle, try pressing the horn button twice quickly. As for your controller, I would advise you to use a keyboard and mouse, as they are far superior to the joypad. Fro your enviroment problems, try reinstalling the game or downloading a patch (or turning off any mods/trainers you may be using). |

Your first 2 problems are with the environment and AI, so the only way to fix this is by installing any patch available. As for your controller, the PC version has the controls changed to suit a keyboard and mouse. If you want to play it like a PS2, then why not just get a PS2?! If you are trying to switch the jingle on with the controller, then that is probably the reason why it won't start. Joypads usually repeat the command if the button is held down. It's common to find that the repeat is set too fast, so pressing the button to switch the jingle on switches it off again before you hear anything. |

Anyone else have these problems on the PC version of GTA Vice City? When doing Avery's missions, the Limo can't seem to make it down the ramp as it gets stuck. Never once happend on the PS2, but the PC version is near every time. When doing Cortez mission with protecting Diaz, the cuban that jumps out of the black car at the start somehow gets ran over by his own car. The mission doesn't proceed anywhere when this happens. Using a Logitech USB dual analog controller (very similar to the PS2 types), am unable to target like the PS2 controller. Have tried everything... Doing the Ice Cream mission, it's near impossible to start the jingle. |
