Data that one is 0.63 + all changes the authors of dosbox have made since then. + some user submitted enhanchements.

It has some additional mscdex checks that games might use.

Mats What is the difference? This one also says V. 0.63 and that is the one I got at home, and that is also the one that isn't working because of MSCDX.

Mats By using a combination of all my DOS emulation programs I managed to make it through the part where it check both EMS and XMS, but now it stops when trying to load the sound files for the game, I've checked and the game needs to be configured with sound or else it won't run, and I've also checked DosBox's homepage and it says: Synnergist: Compability 0%. The game needs a higher version of MSCDX than DosBox can emulate.

That was for the DOS version, as for the windows version, it simply can't find enough EMS, the same as with many other old DOS games under WindowsXP.

Mats This is a question that has taired on my mind for many years: Has anyone, ever been able to run Synnergist on another system than pure DOS?
