marko river That list is reason for this topic. Certain ESA games are treated as abw so i just wanted to check how do we act with them.

mika Am I missing something? Can't we just check the Oldwarez list?

marko river Actually i supposed that this is already discussed but i had to pop it up again for my own sake. I do plan to contribute for a long time in the future (i only became slower recently).

Anyway, Kosta just sacrifices few of his nerves to please one member. It's not so bad isn't it?

Anyway, i'm against this unchecked upload. We still have lot of games to upload which are not ESA. But, i don't see the point in continuing this convewrsation if it is useless, if it won't change anything and if it is really unimportant - which Kosta politely pointed out

So, enough talk, contribute LOL

See, now you pissed Kosta off!

I still think Punch's idea that we buy and take over ESA is the best and would solve all the problems.
Don't bring that up! :tai:

Kosta Oh my god, here we go again. Wasn't this discussed and recycled a hundred times over? And is this topic going to turn into one of those " Holy crap! What are we going to do when ESA shows up with doomsday machines on our dors and starts cohopping our fingers off" panic attacks once I say NO, NOT EVERY GAME IS CHECKED WITH ESA/PRODUCERS? I mean, seriously, do you think we would be able to place almost one game per day with all those background checks?

marko river That's what i thought, it sounds logical.

One thing worries me: is every ESA game checked with ESA or developer before uploading???

Please, Tom or admins, answer this. (this question has been asked by the worried contributor )
24-02-2006 07:21 AM
Icewolf They ask before they upload things.
On the other hand the Admins can choose wheahter they publish it or not.
And the Admins look at lists, ask the ESA or ask the developer.

I hope I'm not writing all crap here...

How do main uploaders determine should the game go up or no?
