Abi79 Or have you noticed that, when clicking on the ESA NO 90 button, nothing at that page even specifies that you can't download the game from this site. It only says that the game is protected, but if the one reading that doesn't have any experience with the abandonware or warez scenes, than he won't bother to go on ESA's page and he will ask on the forums.

I propose a single thing: Add to that page You can't download this game because...

Sebatianos Appropriate maybe - but not acceptable (you know that, or have you forgotten).

The Fifth Horseman The "f***ing google it" link would be very appropriate there, don't you think so?

gregor Aside from the smilley, i was thinking that maybe there should be a different button instead of "ESA NO GO" button on the review page. Maybe "Buy it!" button. it doesn't need to have a link to purchase place. but at least something else that would clearly state it is not downloadable as opposed to button "download" found at other games.

well best one would be "not abandonware" button, but that would be kind of silly considering that the whole page is about abandoned dos games.

it seems to me peopel that ask for the game on forums either don't click on the "esa no go" button at all or maybe they click on it but then doen't read the text.

An improved version, maybe.
Of course - that was just a minute work, so you'd all get the idea. We have pixel/animation magicians here - I bet they could do something much better out of it.

Also its a bit large, and giving guests a smiley might not be the best way to help them..
I also kind of agree with danny. The best way would still be to tell them that they can not download the game legally and we are not able to tell them where it is.
