It doesn't seems to find the soundcard. I'll try later to fix it though with the CD drive on. Perhaps it will run (without s?und, ost likely) |

Eagle of Fire | If you use DOSBox, configure the soundcard for Soundblaster or compatible with the default settings. Try the auto configuration. |

*&$%# Okay, that was a very stupid thing to do, apparently Well, the deal is, the game ask me for a port to configure the soundcard. Since my soundcard is integrated with the Motherboard, and DOSBOX (i think) emulates the soundcard - using the windows drivers -, i've got no clue what port is the game asking me. Standard setings (set up by dosbox itself) IRQ 7, DMA 1. BUt no port seems to find the Soundcard. As for the CD-ROM, do I have to mount the CD-Rom as a new drive? Say I type mount e e:\, will it (kinda by default) recgonize it as the CD-ROM? (Given that e is my CD-ROM letter) EDIT: Hmm, nevermind, I found the thread on the common thingies. Any advice (particulary on the soundcard) will make me really grateful. |

You said you can't configure the sound card. I assumes you already tryied in some way. What exactly did you try yet? If you burned three CD's and you are trying to make the game work in DOSBox, are you sure you mounted the CD-rom adequately with the correct suffixes? |

... and the thing isn't running Okay, I can't even configure the sound card (and I'm trying with the latest version of DOSBox), and without the soundcard configured, apparently, it doesn't works. Is there some way someone used to run it? I'm using windows XP SP 2, though I don't know if it has anything to do with it. I'm itching to play it |
