DDraw and Overlay are more efficient then Surface output. I don't advise using aspect correction, though, it's kind of buggy. |

I found the answer before i lost my mind! I hadn't updated the D-Fend but i found that it's not related with it. I checked the "Start Fullscreen", "Fullfixed" and "Aspect Correction" boxes, and then set the render method to "ddraw", "Resolution" to "default" and "Scale" to "None". It worked but sound was a little bit cranky. Then i unchecked the "Use Doublebuffering" box and lowered the cycles to 6000 while i increased the Dos Memory to 63MB. I don't know if it's logical but it worked (at least for Dune2) |

Try to run it without D-Fend. Go into Dosbox.conf, set [Fullscreen=true], [Fullfixed=true], [Fullresolution=640x480]. Did you update your version of D-Fend along with DosBox? If not, then this might be the cause of the problem. |

Hi people, I had no problem using DosBOX when i had the older version. I don't know why but i wanted to update it and installed 0.65. I am also using D-Fend V2. And now when I start the game it gets fullscreen but DosBOX only appears in the middle of the screen in a small size and so the game. Game doesn't fill the screen and stays tiny. I have tried every option in the D-Fend menu but it doesn't work. I'm sure i've missed something and it makes me mad! :wallbash: I would be really happy if you could inform me according to the options in the D-fend menu. Any help would be appreciated. |
