I played the arcade version of this and I am surprised no one has mentioned the secret warp available on every level.

When the level starts, look carefully, one of the eggs will sparkle a little bit. get that egg LAST, without dying and you will be warped ahead 5 levels and get a huge bonus. I completed the arcade version doing this.

Guest_Marty_* What are the second player controls for Trog? Is there an easy way to remap them?

Trog Fan Hi, I enjoyed this game heaps when I was at uni and we'd all go out to the arcade game parlour. My friends and I used to play it all the time! My favourite "bonus" is the pineapple - I love watching the T-Rex eat up all the Trogs.

I downloaded this and sometimes the response time of the arrow keys isn't very good - I'd press the arrow but my little Rex dino would take a second or two to change direction (and by then he wasn't where I wanted him to be).

Also the sound is awful on my laptop - it's a constant "rrrr" sort of an intermittent, rapid-fire sound. Not music or anything remotely resembling pleasant. I can't figure out how to turn it off, either (no sound would be better than the sound I currently get). Any ideas?

Guest my first problem is solved, cause I first forgot to use dosbox, but when I start the game using dosbox it says "disc load failure"

Reup Aah. Water! That explains why my dino kept dying if I accidentally touched the edges of the playfield. I thought that was pretty lame, but if they're all on an island, that'd make sense k:

BXL I really dont know how many coins i have spent in the arcade! This was one of my favourite coin-op games! Although the game in PC is a little bit "rougher" it still has the atmosphere! (I have to admit though that i miss the water that surrounded each world...)

Guest_thaluikhain Ah, innovation in action. Many early tools were invented in a very short time as defensive weapons to stop dinosaurs.

Haven't played this one since the NES days.
