Destruktius Argh! I hate Murphy's Law!
I deleted Kolumbus after my last try in summer and now the second 3.5"Disk reports some bad sectors - hmpf.
And I forgot about the CD - It does not work under XP, just Win95, maybe Win98 - I deleted this, too.
So far. "I'll kill that cat!"

Is there someone, who may send me a copy of the second disk: kolumbus.a01 is the corrupted File, please.

Thanks for helping, next time I'll ask after I tried the Disks.

Icewolf So you do play it in DosBox? Or not?

Have you tried VDMSound?
Have you tried to change into one of the three different view-modi that DosBox provides (changing it in dosbox.conf) ?

Destruktius Hey!

When I want to play Chritoph Kolumbus (german title, I forgot the english, sth. with E..., I guess... ahhh Exploration!) I have problems to read the text. It looks washy. Normally the font should be readable, cause it was on my longgone Win95 Pentium, no problem with the installation. I think it's a problem with XP and or DOSbox. Is there anybody, who has solved this problem, or has got a link or something else? I have tested 2 different versions, CD and Disk, same problem.

In Deutsch:

Also, mein Problem ist, das die Schrift bei Kolumbus total verwaschen ausschaut. Ich weiß nicht, wie ich das beheben kann und bitte um Ratschläge.

Thanks!
