This way all watermarks are the same, and you don't have to wait for someone to add watermark in the order to post images. PHP is capable to change original images as well, so that you can add watermark at the time you load the image. Just check this links: http://koivi.com/php-gd-image-watermark/ http://www.lockergnome.com/web/2004/...he-fly-in-php/ http://www.devshed.com/c/a/PHP/Dynam...king-with-PHP/ (My fav dev place |

Another approach Here is another approach that is more difficult to obtain. I think I like the first one better. http://67.55.214.189/Jon/logotest4.jpg |

The Fifth Horseman | We should watermark the images, definitely.

@ Paco: It's an older graphics program by MicroGrafx called Picture Publisher. It lets you add transparent text to an image (even JPEGs) and also has a good macro editor that let's you perform batch operations on groups of files. There are probably other programs that can do the same thing, though. I have instructions on how to create watermarks using Paint Shop Pro as well. The procedure is more time consuming, however. |

Are these anything close to what you have in mind? (see bottom) They (the watermark) can be made from any font, can be made any size with any level of transparency and can be centered at the top or bottom or put in any corner. Fairly easy. I can write a macro to do a batch at a time. http://67.55.214.189/Jon/logotest3.jpg http://67.55.214.189/Jon/logotest1.jpg |

Rogue | It should have been done with PHP's GD, as that's the only way to avoid to recreate all the images and to insure all watermarks are the same.

Yes, I think we should use a watermark. It would give us a more professional look, too. |
