Szilvio This is a true gem which you can play with your brother or with friends. We had a small turnament of this in the college with friends in Prague. Who won the game received beers freom the defeted players. Because of that I get drunk heavily once...

A note about the AI, it was hobbled in the shareware version and Hexxagon 2 was un-hobbled. It used a red-black search tree to try to find the best move. I don't remember how far its lookahead was, but it had no actual heurstics, which is why when you learn to see deep enough, you can beat it. When it first came out, the hardest setting on Hex2 could take minutes to think and fill memory. Looking back, I realize I could have done a lot of pruning on the tree.

I am actualy glad to see it Hex2 here, as I lost my copy a long time age. :amused:

Scatty No problem, just that Hexxagon 2 is abandoned so the rest didn't matter for me.

The Fifth Horseman Sorry, Scatty, but I had to remove the links. That place is a warez site, and you know our policy on these.

eksosrock I love this one.
It would really make my day if you added Hexxagon 2 to your site as well, since that's the one I had back in the day.
Any chance?

Leeor First I want to say that it took me forever to finally find the original game! :-) I'm happy now!

Second, I noticed an error in the description. It says it's freeware. It's not. It was originally shareware. Considering that both Argo Software and Creative Software are both gone, there's not much that can really be done about it but I think it's still important to note that the game is actually shareware.
