![]() BTW, noelying, if you can't get this fixed you can try Transport Tycoon (should run without any problems in DOSBox) or OpenTTD. |

I don't think there is much of a problem with big directory names since I installed it under the full name of Transport Tycoon Deluxe on my home PC and it worked fine for years. I do know, however, that some old programs have big problems with complete directory names which are way too big. Like, for example, c:\documents and settings\all users\documents\Transport Tycoon Deluxe\Transport Tycoon Deluxe\ ... Then yeah, it might be a tad too long for an old 16 bits game. |

Where have you installed the game? TTD has some issues with long directory names. Try re-installing the game to a different folder (e.g. c:\games\TTD). |

Is that run the "Runme!" program that given in the patch to import the registry settings? I have done this already. Here is my problem on saving. Attachment 998 Attachment 999 The original file is "Noles Transport 15th Apr 1982", but after I save the new game "Noles Transport 16th Apr 1982", "Noles Transport 15th Apr 1982" disappear and is replaced by the new one. Also, my saving directory is different from yours, there are many saved files in the game initially, only "Noles Transport" is mine. And in the picture you can see that the game said unable to read drive. What is this problem?? |

And you also need to reboot for the registery changes to take effect. With the coming of the newer OSes, it is easy to keep a computer running on the same session for days or even weeks if you simply use the hibernation option. |

You can have as many savegames as you want. You can even choose where you want to keep the savegame files. By default they will be saved in the game directory. The files are called TRTxx.SV1 (replace xx with 00, 01, 02 etc.)![]() EDIT: noelying, have you imported the registry settings? |

But where can I find the saved files in my computer? Which directory they are in? Also I want to ask why every time I saved my game, the newest saved file will overwrite the old one, even they are 2 different games, and I also tried to rename the file, it does not help too. What I meant is that I opened 2 new games, with different president name, but the second new game will overwrite the first when I saved the second one. |

Make sure the directory is not set to Read Only, as aren't any files within it. Also that you have full read/write/modify permissions for that directory and its contents. |

Thanks for the reply, I can play it now. But now I am facing another problem. I cannot save the game file, the game said it cannot load my hard drive, and thus the saving is failed. What should I do...?? |
