Eagle of Fire | Make sure the sound setup is well in synch with DOSBox. Bad sound setting is the first reason why old game hang when you already got them to run. |

Japo | Sounds like a bug in the game. Did you install the patch as Zirkoni suggested? |

jmccrea70 | Well bummer, after finally getting the game to run, making my captain, setting sail...getting a job, and getting into my first battle...as soon as the first enemy npc finishes their move...bam total lockup. Tried multiple games and the same thing happens. Im guessing their is a bug in there somewhere or maybe its a Vista issue...not sure what I should do at this point. |

zirkoni | I had the same problem. Updating the game to version 1.1 solved it. |

Spelljammer Hi, I just received Spelljammer to test out and write an article on it, and ran into a snag. I was able to get it up and running in dosbox, made a character, got to the password protection(which I found a manual at replacement docs for this)entered it in, and the screen goes black and thats it. Waited 5 min or so each time(tried it about 5 times) and the only way to get the game to move back to the main menu is to just start hitting keys. This is the first game Ive actually had trouble with and any advice would be nice and appreciated. I have it in the same directory as all my old games and just to check went and checked out MoM and Xcom and they work fine. |
