I was able to go on replacementdocs, and there is an explanation about what has happened.

I just wanted to let you all know, in case you were interested! (Don't bring down the site, now by going there all at once!)

Eeeeuuuurrrggghhh, no.
Begin this week we had a '404' on repdocs, not that message.
That message only appeared today.
So someone is doing something over there.
