Vista forbids programs to save anything except in your "My Documents" folder. Try reinstalling the game in a subfolder over there and see if it fix your problem. |

Solution is simple - just create a new folder in the Apocalypse main directory, named Savegame. The game cannot probably make this folder by itself (game is presuming that it already is there |

X-Com Apocalypse + vista Ok first let me start off by saying, i cant mount everything fine, the sound and mouse works fine(which is the biggest problem ive found)HOWEVER, when i try to save it like imediatly deletes my save file, and cannet store it anywhere for some reason. I tried to install from cd but it hangs on the "reading cd rom speed" part(any help on this? cause this might fix the problem) So i took a different method and just downloaded it from the site. Ive tried a frontloader and just the original dos box running the program and the same things keep happening. I just want to be able to save my game. A game i tested called "dune" saved just fine. |
