I missed second page of thread completely when written my post.

And first page ends with author Thewarzone1 tries to start rip of the game, and it didn't work for him. Yes, as all was answered on second page another way, my ramblings looks irrelevant for now.

(But I still think that game could live without CD with properly tuned ini. Why to - is totally different question

As it has been re-uploaded, we only need confirmation that the current CD image is OK.

That 'OK' post is about another Alien Odyssey CD image, not the one on AB now.

...Ah, two-page-thread. Sorry then for my slow reply.

DarthHelmet86 I think it already has been...but I haven't downloaded it to check if it is now corruption free.

Geezer I was the one that originally uploaded the ISO to AB and then someone moved it to a hosted site after that. I can replace the ISO if that is still necessary.

TheWarzone1 It worked. Thanks!

I have an ISO of the game on my HD, I always run CD games from ISOs or CD images in dosbox.
But read my post again, as AB doesn't host the images themselves but depends on hosting sites, I pass, sorry.

Notice: I don't say the game can't run without CD, it installs only a small part on the HD (some 11MB) , it's probably possible to get around the CD and run it completely from HD, but there isn't any advantage, as you will need all the files from the CD to run the game.
Easiest is to mount a valid image, no need to do all kinds of weird things.

TheWarzone1 thanks for all the help guys.
i actually used to own this game years ago.
not sure what happened to it.
i never realized it was so rare.

@dosraider any chance you could make me an iso from your copy?

DarthHelmet86 No worries Dos, good to hear that it was in fact needing the CD. Warzone you might want to have a look around over sites for the ISO or wait for someone here to rehost it, I have noted in the ISO thread that the ISO is corrupted so we will see what happens there.
