tjmack I'll give that a go. It'll be good practice for other games that I intend on revisiting.

The Fifth Horseman I never heard of DOS mouse drivers with scroll wheel support, so yeah. :/
I've been able to get the Glide version running through the use of a wrapper: http://www.zeckensack.de/glide/ (keep in mind this was on XP, not Vista)

MDK, DosBox and the mouse scrollwheel

Hi folks,

After umpteen attempts and much to-ing and fro-ing I've managed to get MDK working with DosBox under Win7 (32bit). Everything works: graphics, sound etc. with one small niggle left - the mouse scrollwheel axis is not recognised with the wheel just acting as a third button. The mouse is just an el cheapo 3 button Sweex optical mouse and is nothing fancy

Now, I can't remember if MDK DOS version ever had support for mouse scrollwheels as the Win95 version certainly has no probs, but I can only get that working well under Vista.

Also, is it possible to get the Glide version working at all?

T.
