Yeah but mount and imgmount are already different commands, no need to distinguish them any further, and the virtual result is supposed to be the same if you mount a folder as if you imgmount an image... But it's really subjective, :P anyway the devs must have felt strongly about it or they have received strong feedback, for them to change the syntax. Although I think the legacy syntax must continue working, from what Nextinline reports, that the problem was solved without changing this.

Eagle of Fire If your drive didn't exist then the mount didn't work or didn't occur.

You probably need to do what Japo said.

Eagle of Fire I don't understand the "inconsistency" here. The first option mentioned by Fifth is way more consistent than what you are describing...

No, that was up until 0.73. In 0.74 they've changed that inconsistency and it's -t cdrom for both, at least according to the manual (readme). I haven't bothered to check what happens if you use the old syntax, it would be most logical if the old legacy syntax worked along the new one, but he might want to try both just in case there's any difference, documented or not.

Japo First of all change "-t iso" for "-t cdrom".

Then you're of course sure that those files exist, right?

Directory doesn't what? Please post the exact text of your error message - or better, a screenshot of the thing. dxdiag is useless far as your problem goes.
