Cannot bring graphics back I've read that you can use the right mouse button to bring the image down. This only works BEFORE the first time I ever type "graphics off". Afterwards there's no bringing the image back with this method. |

Cannot bring graphics back I'm running DosBOX 0.74. As soon as I make the graphics go away I cannot bring them back. Typing graphics seems to switch between "Graphics on" and "Graphics off" but the image NEVER comes back... |

Removing/Restoring the Graphics Also, type GRAPHICS to turn the graphics on and off (and to restore the graphics after removing them with the TEXT command). |

Hi all, Any idea on how I can move the graphic part up? The pic is too large, and covers up too much text. Thanks for any replies. |

This game is just brilliant, the fact that there's less verbose text than in The Pawn and no "story" going on in it doesn't affect the quality of the setting in any way: a lot of great adventure games of the past are no more than dungeon romps in search for treasure to collect, with almost no plot and lots of puzzles, and they're still very immersive and fascinating. Its design is also better than the one of The Pawn where it's very easy to get stuck right at the beginning of the adventure and not notice it until much later. The Guild of Thieves' puzzles are not that difficult in my opinion, they're not easy either, but they're logical, they make sense, and the game world is interesting and captivating. Personally, that's all I'm looking for when I play a text adventure, and The Guild of Thieves is one of the best ever made. |
