Glitches with Game I've played the game twice all the way up to New York, and each time I can't seem to find the Gadget Roller Skates (I don't think they're needed but the fact I they don't show up is strange). Also, I think I'm missing a part for the device needed to control/stop the robots; I found the batteries, antenna, and computer board (combined them together). If there's something else in the receiving room cabinet (Penny says there is) but I can't pick it up or use it. Help would be very much appreciated! |

This cartoon was excellent but the game not so much. I think they had a decent Inspector Gadget game but don't remember. Does anyone know another game very similar to this in both control & graphics. It has nothing to do with Inspector Gadget or any other licensed material. Its mostly about science stuff. You are in a construction area and click things... its an old dos game too. that game was really good for education (for kids)!! anyone know what I'm talking about?? |

The Fifth Horseman | Of course. Use DosBox to run the game. You can download it here.

Strange, I was playing around with opening some of the exe files and the pointer started working. Still couldn't get the sound to work. The setd file has sound card choices, but I don't know which to pick. I tried soundblaster and ibm internal and it didn't work. On top of that after open some other of the exe files the pointer stopped working and the game is discolored. It's quite difficult to make stuff work with new technology. Any ideas? |

Alice | This game sounds so cool. I couldn't wait to hear that familiar Inspector Gadget theme. When I ran gadget.exe, I didn't get any sound and my touchpad didn't work. People on the msg board mentioned dosbox. Is that command prompt? I tried command prompt and still had the same issues. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Nope - mouse works fine with DOS-games, but for this game you need to run it in DOSBox - it's not WinXP compatible (mouse). |
