win98 i made the boot disk in the end but it has errors in the config.sys at the moment but i am fixing them right now

Danny252 I used them for a bit to transfer files to my other pc when the lan was down. then I found my cd-rw again

Rogue You don't need a CD-RW to create it and test it... but to go to details would take too much space and effort.

As for floppy, does any1 uses them anymore? :blink:

win98 [b][font=Arial][size=7] one problem i do not have a cd burner and have decided to make a boot disk that has himem.sys and emm386 that gets to the command promt to run dos games from a cd-rom. then you guys can make your own cd-roms with games on them

Ioncannon why not put it on a cd? Just stick a generic cd-rom driver on there, and get the autoexec/config file on the bootdisk to load it.

win98 [b][font=Arial][size=7][color=blue] Hi every one i have decided to make a ms-dos game bootdisk on floopy. i am trying to build a boot disk out of smallgames from the site which has a menu so it is easy to run i will give more information as i get it
