Is nearly impossible to find without a walkthrough.
The hint is not found during gameplay. It's in one of the game's two ending cinematics, in the pages of a book. The writing in the book looks like gibberish but it's actually Glagolitic script.

On the left page is a depiction of Mount Grimrock from the first game, on the right is the hint to find the relic.

"The one who knows you have been lied to" refers to a Stone Philosopher in the desert. The other two lines are written in the code from The Archives and are a list of directions to follow. Starting at the Stone Philosopher in the desert and following the directions leads you to the spot where the Relic is buried. No mention of having to dig 3 times though.

Wow. _That_'s the easter egg, I must say!
