Dang.
http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/bard...eCoverId,53744/ Yups. It does include the old games :( I have to update the AW List accordingly. Which sadly means that these three games will be removed from the site with immediate effect. |

C'est la vie. These things happen and we can never be truly prepared.

Did anyone saw what is written on the bottom on the CD-Rom on the mobygame scan?
"For A Really Disturbing Image... Flip Disc Over" thats comedy! |
LOL
I hadn't noticed that :D |
Can't see anything there... :tai:
|
Umm there is something wrong with this. The buy link goes to the PC-DVD Rom version of the new Bard's Tale. The one that was made in 2005...
|
Unfortunately, that's why the games are listed as still being sold... because they are included when you buy the new version of Bard's Tale.
I suppose one could split hairs and argue that the original BT games are *not* themselves being sold, but rather they are included for free when you pay for the new game. However, The Powers That Be have not released the games specifically as freeware, so they can't be made available for download. (Yet.) |
Yep it's true. You wouldn't think they would care about the old dos version since the others play with XP. But the good news is if you really want them, I got it some time ago for twenty bucks. The new bard tale is a huge game and you get all three of the old ones which like I said play on XP now.
