I spent a lot of time with Amiga (same as Strobe) so I voted for it.

Today I got Sega GameGear and Sega Genesis and PS1 (one of the first series). I had to return N64 that I bought as connectors did not work (tried two units) and I am planning of getting Amiga, ZX Spectrum 48, C64, NES, SNES and SMS (just love these old systems)

Strobe, what amiga do you have, and are you able to connect amiga with pc?

For me its: PC

Otherwise: Sega Saturn

That was such a good console...hate it to see that it dies along the way

I always liked the NES/SNES because of the great games they had like the Mega Man series, and Zelda, but still I never bought the systems. So my vote is for the Amiga, which had a great supportive community. :ok:

besides your pc, which of these systems are your memories attached to?
i am very interested in your "digital history" ^_^

What do you mean digital history?
My C64 has a place of honour on the top of my VCR, with the disk and tape unit on the other VCR all under my TV. Both joysticks are still attached and the Breadbox is connected to the VCR - so I can tape myself playing old games! Playing One on one and shattering the board of the basket - gotta tape it!
And I still play it - and even use it for simple tape editing (write a quice coment in fron of a movie you'll tape on your VCR...

SO DON?T EVER SAY IT HISTORY!!! C64 rocks!!!

AMIGA. Never owned one myself but I have worked on the 500 for years. Great system and better then the PC for a long time.

still prefer pc to consoles tho.

Not all of these where consoles. Amiga is a computer with a lot of options, and better games at the time then PC.

Check Hall of Light for screen shots of amiga games, and to see how many games where made for amiga.

I remember using C64 for the same thing. But after that, amiga was tool of choice. There where some neat editable intros with flying letters and other cool things. :ok: I would like to have C64, and as soon as I'm done with remodeling, I will look for one.

Could someone please post a link to a site that details all the consoles(or computers) in the poll?I have always been curious as to what an amiga or a C64 are.
I chose null vote since i only used a pc(and a playstation, but that doesn't count)

Well, here's a site that has all the details of (I would say) all of them. But it's in German, so you'll need to have some experience in it.

Homecomputer-museum
