well it was on my other computer when it was declared it
hehehe now they take that title away  what ya going to dooo Ghost busters! |
Can anyone remember a First Person Shooter game in which you started off outside on a ledge and you jumped off, you had to fight Nazis (no not Wolfenstien) but sometimes when you aimed at them they would put there hands up to surrender and if you turned away they either stayed surrendering or pulled out there gun again and started to shoot you (fantastic for early games I must say, they don't even give AI the option to surrender in modern games.)
The graphics resembled that of a most FPS's of the time, looked like the DOOM engine. Also when you went to quit, it would should a picture of a different execution for your character (such as lethal injection or the electric chair.) I remember this game came with our first computer (1997/8/9) so I can't expect it was wide known. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. |
rise of the triad i think (sounds a lot like it anyway)
|
Yep, it has gotta be ROTT
|
Ah thanks a lot that's the badger.

There were Nazis in it?!
Why it is then called Rise of the Triads? :bleh: There was a funny mp mode. |
The enemies were going to be Nazis in the original concept of the game, so there's a certain "Nazi" quality to some of the uniforms.

what's with those platforms and walls shooting fire balls and all....
i always wondered who lives in a place like that :-D with moving platforms, countless dangers as well as bouncy things on the path etc. multiplayer has plenty types of games. i liked the flowing body parts effect back then and the frazes spoken out by enemies and "team" members. Memorable phraze: "Here, catch!" and he throws you a grenade. |
