Use DOSBox or VDMSound. I myself use VDMSound without a problem for that particular game.

You do know that dosbox has vdmsound integrated in it? and vdmsound isn't too much more reliable than XP for me anyway. its either too slow, or dosen't even have an effect.

why does everyone think dosbox has vdmsound integrated into it?
it has its own soundcard(s) emulation (some parts from MAME, i think ,and maybe or maybe not some from vdmsounds soundcard code- i know they thank the vdmsound coder for soundblaster info) look in thanks.txt
