mr. bean the movie

Fawfulhasfury 25-01-2005 03:22 PM

Wow. there are too many. all of them I'd say off hand. :D Ace ventura is a definite one. Monty python, too. the naked gun series.

TheVoid 25-01-2005 03:29 PM

Robin Hood - Men in Tights was lot of fun :D

I'd have to agree with Bohor. "Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail" is indeed the funniest movie ever made imho. I've watched it over thirty times and it still amazes me. I recently got it on DVD since my VHS had some quality-problems after being watched that many times :D
Although "Bad Taste" (the first movie Peter Jackson ever made) is also quite funny...

Well, I "have to" watch movies with Seb usually - so I do agree about The Marx Brothers, Robin Hood men in tights and off course the Monty Pythons.

I also liked Cool Runingsand Rat Race (remember the cow hanging from the ballon getting hit by the bus full of Lucy - fans)??

But as it was already mentioned - there are too many movies - some were so stupid, I just had to laugh :ok:

Hmmm... Pulp Fiction is certainly up there. The Philadelphia Story is great, and All About Eve has some awesome dialogue, as bitter and cynical as it is. Lock, Stock, and Tow Smoking Barrels deserves a mention too.

I liked There's A Girl In My Soup with Peter Sellers and Goldie Hawn. For me, the trouble with comedies is that they can get too silly. I don't understand 'silly'
humour. Totally unmoved by them. An example of that is the Police Academy series. I prefer humour if it's clever, and it can be satisfying to see strong, confident characters placed in embarrassing situations, especially Julia Roberts.

Fawfulhasfury 26-01-2005 12:23 AM

The pink panther series.

wendymaree 26-01-2005 12:35 AM

Oh, yes, I forgot them. They're great - even the theme is funny and sensational. We must both we fans of Peter. :)
