@Omuletz - well, Schumi isn't winning all the time, the firtst race in this season was won by Fisicella. Not a good start, but as I am a Schumi fan aswell (especially because my sister is a BMW and McLaren fan) I do expect him to win again!

When it comes to F1 one must not forget Sena, Prost, Lauda, Stuwart, Mansel? I don't know how to spell them right....

That MF+ won 7 years a row and ruined the rightful right of the champion for Damon Hill (one of the best F-1 racers of all time) and Mika (I think... )

Thats Stewart and Mansell, I think.
WMM rules! Go KR!

Hakkinen wasn't good? :eeeeeh:

I said so good, he is among the greatsm I guess Villeneuve was last who won a season for Renault (now in power again), after which they pulled out for a couple of years, and I really like that team...

Hmm you reminded me on Damon Hill I forogt about that driver...

My favorite racer...

I'd still have to go with Michael Schumacher.
Why? - simple:
He is a very skilled driver (maybe hasn't the best personality, but I don't expect him to be my friend, I just respect his driving skills - he's a driver, not a Big Buddy).
The most memorable moment was in SPA, back in 1997 (if I remember the year correctly). It was raining. Michael had slicks and Hill had rain tyres. They had a real wheel to wheel fight for quite some laps. Michael hadn't the traction and could hardly control his car, but he was able to stay in front of Hill.
About some other things... It was Mika who defeeted Michael. I can't say that about Jacques. When he became the champ with Williams - Michael still had a lot of trouble with Ferrari. I still remeber a race, when he wanted to drive out of the pit and his transmission fell down to the road. He picked it up, walked back to the pit and handed it to the mechanic. That's not the driver's fault - it's the crew's and Ferrari was really unreliable until Michael came to them and made some order.

Shoemaker is the best driver(maybe in history, maybe not, time will tell), but he sure made the competition boring...

Juan Manuel Fangio(just a Argentinian that was 5 times world champion LOL...long time ago)

Schumacher wins because he's a very good driver and drives the best car in the championship.

My favourite, tho, is the almighty Juan Pablo Montoya, I like his aggressive driving style which is as well his weak point. His major problem is the Williams, 'cause the stupid technicians didn't allowed him to mount spikes on the wheels. Then it would have been quite a race.
