Had to pick between action (because Doom and Halflife rock) and adventure, but decided to calculate the hours I spent with each genre and this tipped the scales towards adventure games big-time. I still blame LucasArts and Sierra for me having to do second year in high school twice !!! motherf**kers :P

Definitely Adventure. Point & Click for preference, but even games that desperately want to be P&Cs but had a god-awful control scheme forced onto them just to please the cerebrally challenged wave of new gamers (MI4, Grim Fandango) get a thumbs up from me.

RPG- not for the ones set for an example though...
Adventure are great, but it's such a disgusting feeling when you get stuck in them, that I lose any will to play... |
Rpg but i think the examples u gave doesnt really reflect good RPG games...

I REALLY like strategy games, however I chose adventure games since I just can't get enough of adventuregames. I think i've played all well known good adventuregames and even some that weren't so good, just because I like them so much. In fact I can't wait to buy Still Life or Moment of Silence

It's very hard to choose, I love adventures and action games. But I think adventures are a bit better than action, I could play them for hours without any break, which doesn't often happen with action games. BTW, almost everybody here chose adventures. Bit strange. isn't it? :D

It's amazing that there isn't a one vote to sports, what is great.
And on the other hand the people that play sports as favourite games usually don't know how to use internet and computer very well. Ahhh... this was a stupid post... :eeeeeh: |
I voted other as i like tactical shooters such as Rainbow Six =D not mindless fps's like HL2
