adobe illustrator costs a bomb. and very few free programs cope with .eps format images.

frankly provide it in a .png format please and worry about scaling detail later. i can scale it up to a reasonable size and clear it up if needed.

vector programs like adobe illustrator or macromedia freehand are rather helpful
for such tasks, but as talon already stated they're not absolutely necessary...
i'm quite sure that cheap/free software is capable of handling .eps and the like, too.

ok, here's another approach...

Nice, I like the second one very much. You could make the shots you put up here smaller though...

I'll create a png version to in large format.

Gimp can handle EPS (and is free), but you need Ghostscript as well (also free). If anyone has trouble getting this to run, feel free to PM me for detailed instructions! :ok:

@Strobe: nice design! I was thinking pretty much along the same lines with my own... but. ow well... I'll upload it soon!

I tried the .esp file in gimp and it didn't work! <_<

thanks a lot! :) i put up my designs in the required format, for the t-shirt 10"x10" (200dpi) that is, so that's why the image got that big...

Yeah, but there's no need to put that version in here - mine are grotty little jpegs so you can see what it's about, but the actual file I have is of the proper quality, which I think was 300DPI.
