I went through a couple of levels but... it's too slow and unwieldy for my tastes. I prefer the likes of Raptor and Stargunner.

Not bad but I prefer Tyrian 2000 and Stargunner because of more effects, buyable weapon-systems and cool parallax-scrolling.

I had this problem as well after 3 levels it goes black, I have no clue as to why either.

Probably has something to do with the protection... we don't have the manual, and it asks for a word out of the manual, a classic protection scheme with the old dos games.

I had unzipped it but it doesn't run .
