My mood switches from Neutral Good to Neutral Evil. :twisted:
Chaotic Neutral, when I drink too much :[img]http://www.abandonia.com/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

I've never played D&D :blink:
My mistake then. :bye:

I always thought that anybody interested in video games would have played at least one D&D title, or heard of the D&D alignements system. Sorry ! :tomato:

I'm tempted to give an detailed explaination of those alignements, but somehow, i think it would be lots of trouble for little results. As it would probably generate waves of protest, contradictions and endless/pointless debate. Let's just say that good and evil are pretty obvious... As for chaotic and lawful, well you'll have to figure it out... Or try a D&D video game, they are prety good ! :ok:

I'm Neutral Good. I don't believe in laws - what is by law isn't by justice and the contrary. Maybe I'm sometimes verging upon Chaotic - like frontier-guard, allowing to pass people from enemy's country, because they can save their lives, if they go to the country, which borders he protects. (if I'm right in Chaotic definition :D )
What about definition of "good" - I think it's quite obvious, even if you didn't play in D&D. Absolute Good - God, Light and so on.

Chaotic Nuetral.
If you've read the description in a D&D handbook it speaks for itself. :sneaky:

I've heard of it, but my *drumrolls* lil' RIVA TNT2 *boos* doesn't allow me to play it :tai:

Anyway, as far as the chaotic/neutral/lawful goes, they can be figured out, but good and evil is a whole different point. What's good for me might be evil for you or vice-versa.

A little info I thought it would be useful; It's from Wikipedia, and I believe it's according to canon.

Come on ladies and gentlemen. You probably know what D&D alignements mean.
No, as a matter of fact I don't, that's why I was asking. This may come as a bit of a surprise to you, but I'm not actually much of a gamer, and I've never played anything D&D (or AD&D) related in my life. So what does it mean?

Edit: Ah, never mind, I just saw Xikarita's link. Hmm, Chaotic Good would come closest, I suppose...

I think he's Tony's nephew in ''The Sopranos''. Evil mobster :twisted:

I agree with the Wiki (for once).

Neutral Good

"Benefactor"

A neutral good character will obey the law, or break it when she sees it will serve a greater good. She is not bound strongly to a social system or order. Her need to help others and reduce their suffering may take precedence over all else. Neutral good characters do good for goodness' sake, not because they are directed to by law or by whim.

This alignment desires good without bias for or against order.

An example of a Neutral Good character is Luke Skywalker.

For those who were wondering what the (+1, +7) I posted earlier mean, it's a way to count your alignment. If you consider that, in the first alignment which is for Law (mine is neutral) there is 3 possibilities; Evil, Neutral and Good. If you want an even more precise scale, then add another 3 separation to each possiblilities, the second separation being in the middle and the other two either way. This will give you this;

0, 0 being absolute neutral, +3/+3 will be Lawfull good and -3/-3 will be Chaotic Evil.

If you then add another 3 separation to be even more precise, you'll end up with this;

0 is neutral up to 3, 4 to 6 you would be between good and neutral (but still be listed as good) and 7 to 9 you would be at the highest point of being good.

This scale is also reversible, minus would be evil.
