maybe kon-tiki is right ... did you try pure DosBOX without d-fend ?

I took my own version for the review and thus the info with run "mm.bat" isn't for the Abandonia version!

start "runme.bat" and all's well!

@monk: I have winXP SP2 and DosBox runs the game pretty good!

runme.bat works in DosBOX however, I think I had too many cycles as my car was traveling at the speed of sound

AFAIK, the game has been cracked. Therefore, just press ENTER at the password screen and it should work.

Looks cool, but gives me a nice black screen at the start of the race (running it without dosbox.)

And that's why:

running with dosbox gives me a Runtime Error 200 at F5FC:0410
edited the runme.bat to remove the dreamteam screen, and now it works.
Great game, only bad thing is that when you just touch the grass, you need to repari the car and that costs you 18 secs, and with that understeering its not easy to not touch the grass.
Otherwise, great game.
And i really like the simulation of the fog! xD

I don't get this game working either. Miglia.exe is missing midi, and midi3drv doesn't do nothing. Help? I'd like to get this game working, I'm a big fan of old racing cars.
