did you try DOSBox?
I remember using some old vesa driver i had, but my problem was not having any picture (just text left from dos). At least I think that was what i did in the end...

Well, it doesn't open at all in dosbox. It says, "Stub exec failed: dos4gw.exe o such file or directory." I don't know what a vesa driver is, but I downloaded one and put it in the folder and it didn't work. In windows, it opens except the picture is messed up and so it's unplayable. :(

What am I to do?

HOTU, eh? I will go and download it, like i said it was a relly long time since I had to solve this problem.

P.S. on the record: LBA2 rulez! we should get it if we can!!!!

bellebelle 15-04-2005 11:12 PM

oh thank you! Hooray, please report back when you have figured it out.

a1s 15-04-2005 11:22 PM

err... wait did you mean "Little Big Adventure"? or actualy "twinsens odisey" (LBA2)?

bellebelle 15-04-2005 11:35 PM

Oh I meant twinsen's odyssey.

btw, I've got it working now, amazingly, through dosbox.

Only, now it says it won't work without a CD!!

Now what!

a1s 16-04-2005 12:03 AM

no you didn't! as a win95 game TO would not run in DOSBox.

bellebelle 16-04-2005 12:25 AM

i did though.

a1s 16-04-2005 12:27 AM

allright, I'll get that one too, allthough with my conection it's going to take a while...

Hello A1s,

Did you figure out the Twinsen's Odyssey Mystery Saga?! Dying to know, as I still haven't managed to get it to work. Is there any way to trick it into thinking it's actually working of a CD?

Helena

:happybday:

p.s. it's my b-day, woop!
