I think I've read that there is a limit to how much your universe can be populated.
Either that or you can set the limit.

They probably would've looked at that problem anyway.
Thanks to this game, I can safely say I love Will Wright twice as much as I did before. :P

Well if you had watched the video...

The universe is populated by other people's creations, which you download on the game's start-up or something, they haven't said exactly how they'll do it, but the entire world is basicly your creation with the millions of creations from other people.

Which is a very exciting idea, but it has alot of things that could go wrong possibly.

EDIT: Wouldn't this thread belong in Favorite Oldies & Newbies? Or does that only refer to games that have been released?

Nope I only saw the images, and I imagine it would all be precoded so you wouldn't download much just like you don't in any other MMOG...

I remember reading about this game....

Afaik every content of every player gets loaded on some kind of "master server". Everytime your game starts (or everytime you want it to) this content gets downloaded to your comp. But although every race in your universe is made by another player, there's basically no interaction with other players. If you destroy the planet of another player, it's just gone in your game, not in everybody else game, too.

Yeah, there seems to be no MP as such.

I'm definitley going to get it, it looks awesome, and it has the open opportuinity-ness of the Sims / Black and White / Civilization without all the annoying managment, it looks really neat, games like this where tehre are billions of ways to do it are always fun.
