Bah another year of east European countries vs the west EU.
I liked it better when the eastern countries weren't participating in this contest. Here are the votes from the Netherlands: 12 points to Belgium /me hugs Flamish ppl, they are cute. 10 points to UK becaurse they are our other neigbors :) 9 points to ehm... well ok Germany :/ 8 points to ..... Havent heard the songs yet though. But this is how it should go. Its tradition :) bah at eastern EU countries messing the tradition up :( |

And Btw: The two dansers dancing there are called hommi and nammi or as in english Homo/*** and Candy |
here is some nice vids ... (link stolen and slightly changed  )
It would be a wonder if Germany won ... |
Hmm, that reminds me...
Wasn't Germany the only country last time that didn't give the 12 points themselves? I think everyone somehow fails to see that this whole thing is about the songs the countries perform, and not about how much one country likes another. For example (don't want to offend you SirPeter, you just delivered the perfect example ;) ): SirPeter stated exactly how it shouldn't be done. 10 points shouldn't go to the UK because they are neighbours, but because the song from the UK rocks. It's an Eurovision Song Contest afterall, not some "Which country do you like the most" poll. Oh, and from what I've heard so far, I would give Finland 12 points, Lordi just rocks. And another edit: @Grinder: Seeed won the "Bundesvision Song Contest 2006". I generally don't like rap, but somehow I can't get this song out of my mind, it has something.....different....all over it. |
Was meant as sarcasm Don :)
I agree its about the songs not the countries. (still think the Flemish are cute though) |
