Tron was my favorite film for a long time when I was a kid, and the light-cycle sequence was the best part of the movie. I might have to check this game out just because of that.

Yay, finally a tron-like game on abandonia. I've played games like this several hours a day with my friends when I was young... heck, I even do today when someone to play with is around.
I'm definitly gonna download and check this game. Anyway, if you liked this game you might want to check this two as well: 1) Armagetron Advanced features nice 3d-graphics and Multiplayer (Online, Lan, on one PC) 2) TQWorms Still my Fav. If you don't speak german it might be a little bit confusing at first, but it's worth it. The graphics are not-so-awsome, but the gameplay rocks. The author has added items to the game that easily double the fun :). And it supports multiplayer (only on one PC). Funny side note: The Author of TQWorms is a good friend of my brother. :) btw: I hope my Englisch doesn't suck too bad ;). |
and for more info for those that are interested in Tron , Monolith made a game named TRON 2.0 that continues the film story ,

Ok. Since you are Tron-aholics here's another Tron game. This one you have to face Recognizers, the Solar Sailer, Tanks, etc. It's a mod for a freegame, so I think you'll have to install the freeware 1st, because the install does not have all that is necessary:

I remember playing a similar game several years before 1991, so this is not the first game of it's type. The game I used to play had lousy graphics (my monitor was just black & green) and was even more basic than this one (e.g. no bikes, just lines). Unforunately, I can't remember it's name. If anyone remembers, please let me know what the game was called. :wallbash:
