You can create even with LoD a classic character, with which you can join and play then in games created by other classic characters. As for the fire-breathing Pit Lords / Venom Lords at Chaos Sanctuary, revives are exactly the right shield to stop then from reaching you which allows you to pummel them with bone spear or like.

Well, I don't want to play ordinary D2.

Hey troop18546, I'm reaching the 94...I've got 2.500.000.000 exp points...you need 3.500.000.000 to reach 99..
It's impossible to reach it in single player... Gems and runes are useless...if you have a great set like Griswold or Immortal king use jewels.. make special combination with strong rare jewels..it's amazing... But you have to work on it...because it's very difficult... Example: I've got this one: +17%Damage +1-61 Lightning damage +33 Defense +6Strenght Or this.. +10 Min Damage +9 Strenght +2 Dex +1Mana For each kill And other...if you use them 2 or 3 times you can create combination... The first one x3 is powerful than an Ohm+4Ort+Pul+2Fal...capito?(you have all that runes in 3 holes!) |
I am not gonna start through even act4 again - no patience and all the best stuff I collected would be gone - F it. I'm lvl 28 Necro now and I tagged that spear skill (only 1 point, better than nothing). I realised that the Necro is hardest to flaw-out especially how I was making him. First of all - curses depend on any other melee attack, be it me or my raised undead, second - summons are good only when there are bodies or items to make them, so that's a bit weak, third - poison and bone spells provide much power for my good damage dealing with the projectile bonespear.
I am gonna move to openb.net to improve my char and provide him with skillpoints for BoneSpear and PoisonNova (provided I have the time). I have a LoD copy (not bought, no cd-key for months, so no MP), but I think I could use it on my original D2 to have much more stash and to get runes or such, but I wanna complete the game and buy an original LoD, so this will be put to a halt, till I complete D2 normally. Scatty, that's exactly the demon that killed me when I was so close to D's final battle, but then again - it was very late so I had to choose "save and exit". I hate it when I have to go through the same level again and again to come to the CS, when there could be a normal save, like in D1, where I can watch over and over again at bleeding D. F'ing D2 fans ruined this for me. Grrrr... Well, I hope I can raise those 700K for lvl29 and atleast have 2 points in BS. Then, another 800K for the lvl30. Till then. EDIT: Scratch that, I'm thinkin' of buying LOD today (I'm still amazed at the cost), but the fact that it enhances D2 is the primary solution of me buying it. EDIT2: I have LOD. I now have all of Blizzard's Diablo Series games (except for Hellfire). EDIT3: WOOOHOOO!!! DIABLO IS HISTORY!!! I had to resort to scavenger hunting, but in one openb.net game I found a very powerful weapon lying on the ground and some good armor. D was killed after I had been dead over 20 times. :w00t: |
wow...well you'd better find some help on open bnet
|
Actually, you even better play in closed bnet, there you can find lots of help and items are being given away often, too. And the majority of D2 players is located in closed bnet, in open there're only few, and many of them just cheaters who play through character+items editor and have all "mega-gozu" and edited overmaxed items.

P.S. experience grows quick in actV, but the 4th quest is a major pain, also the 3rd one. There are too many tough enemies in groups attacking me!!! :wallbash: BTW, himmler - I did... LOL read the posts. |

It's easy to use with some experimenting and time. Of course, with it you can make yourself god and become the mega-cheater, but it's all up to you ;) Quest 3 in Act 5 is difficult, that's right. Again requires someone strong with good items to help you, which would be easy to find in closed b-net... |

That's cheating man (the hero editor), no way... :whistling: |
Yeh Troop, if you need any good items or ruins I have a few I could give you, it's easy to find people willing to distribute items for free or for a very low price.
