hm...
I can't seem to patch the game, everytime I try it says "check patch parameters" :( |
first of all.. THIS GAME ROCKS!! i installed it in my computer and it ran well.. sounds, graphics.. but i can't play it in full screen, did i miss anything?
|
Can't play it in fullscreen? Why?
What happens when you try to? |
exactly my problem,, i dunno how to play it in full screen, i don't know how to adjust speed, frame, etc.., because it's my first time using dosbox., where can i find the options to adjust these things? or is it automatically set by the program or i can set it up manually?
|
one more thing, what's the maximum points for strength, dexterity, and intelligence, i can't boost them up more than 25, is it the maximum they can get or is there another way to increase it?
|
DosBox can be switched between windowed and fullscreen modes by pressing [ALT]+[ENTER].
You might also want to check out the official DosBox FAQ, and particularly this part of it. It is quite helpful for users unfamiliar with DosBox. And don't forget the readme file. It's got all the keyboard shortcuts listed. You can configure the starting values of frameskip, cycles and so on in dosbox.conf. |
allright..!! problems solved.. yet another has revealed :wallbash: .. this game runs slow on my computer, if i try to increase its speed by using F6 or F12 the game moves faster but it's getting lagged. i'm using WINXP supported by Pentium 4 1.6 GHz and 256MB of memory, can u tell me what's the best setting 4 this spec? or is there any way to play this game perfectly on my computer? everything runs well except for the game gets lagged everytime i tried to increase its speed :tai:
|
Let's try the following
1. Enable Dynamic Core (that's in Dosbox.conf) 2. Increase cycles 3. Increase frameskip |
where can i find this dosbox.conf? or how do i summon it? i can only find dosbox.conf in file and all i can do is read it.. sorry b4 dude.. i'm really new to this stuff

Basically, the conf file is just a text file that can be edited just by typing the words, phrases and numbers you want. All you have to do, when you find it, is to open it and edit the relevant lines. In the conf there is plenty of information on what the different lines do and what options you have in editing them. Being a text file, you can also open and edit it in say, Notepad. EDIT: IMPORTANT. If you're really new to this, you should make a back-up copy of the conf file before editing it. |
