My Action: If she attempts to snatch the ring for herself, I will forcefully tell her to share it with the whole party first, if she doesn't agree, I will take her weapon and throw it against the wall in a temper tantrum, then I will attempt to destroy the sarcophogus.

Perhaps we should identify it first, before we fight over it...

The Detect Magic spell reveals that the ring does, in fact, have a faint divination aura. |
Wow, detect magic can tell the type of magical aura as well as it just actually having one? Interesting.
Many Cursed items do not appear cursed, as far as detect magic goes. As a matter of fact, held side to side they will often appear exactly the same as a non-cursed item. This is most likely used to cause some painful and perhaps gruesome demise of some random adventurer. Divination means it cannot be a stat bonus ring, more likely a constant effect/charged cast ring or a cursed ring. A stat bonus ring would either have alteration or abjuration magics. |
"Alteration" is called Transmutation in 3E. But your analysis is accurate :)

Saria talks to the party and tell them about the ring and the divination aura that it got on it (the party only saw Saria casting a spell over something).

[i]Sir Jesse walks over to Saria.
Sir Jesse: Please give me the ring Saria. I entered in this place because i was looking for this ring.[i] |
Um yeah im Back school has been terrible....
MY course of action: nothin im still paralyzed right? |
Nope, spells that have a duration in "rounds", are usually terminated automatically once combat ends. That's because a round is only 6 seconds, and searching bodies, examining items and so on, takes a few minutes.
