Good games, especially the first part, but far from being between the best, even if the videogame magazines told otherwise. Remember Turrican or Maniac Mansion. LN hardly plays in the same league.

Your oppinion, and I will not challenge that, but in my opinion, comparing MM and LN is like comparing the movies Terminator and Fried Green Tomatoes. It's just unfair to both the movies.

Mighty Midget is right - these are really diffent games.

I remember playing the first part on my C64 ... I think i need to get a decent joystick ... some arcade style for all these old-school games I used to play on C64 ...

Was LN3 ported to PC ??

no bob, it wasn't. still prefer playing the c64 versions using PSPVice to relieve the memories on the move :). my nan still has the c64 anyway so i might ask to have it at some point in the future (it even has the 1541 disk drive :P)

A geeky note: LN is far from being the first isometric game. British software company Ultimate developed an isometric technique named 'filmation' for ZX spectrum games like Alien8 or Knight Lore.
cheers

Yeah, i remember those games, guess i'm little geeky too. I also guess i got carried away when reviewing this. Still, isometric view wasn't much used back then. Never mind.

I never got into LN3 and i tried more than once. I walked all across the first level, trying to do whatever i couldpossibly think of but without luck. I found all the weapons but don't know what to do to finish the level.

As for Vendetta, i had that game, and it seemed fantastic when first saw it, but also couldn't figure out what to do and i also tryed more than once. Only the fist four screen. I couldn't fire no weapons too, only used hands and knife. There was something blinking in each screen that made me wonder, but still no success...

Since the pack got splitted into the two separate games, this thread just became the thread for the first part. :D
