Modern gaming is great + I have all the old games at my disposal so it beats living in the past.

i agree somewhat, I love a lot of modern games, but series' such as Final Fantasy and Star Ocean once had...
and the Wii is just a joke.

I guess I love the best of both worlds, but old games will always be slightly better in my book ;)

the wii may be a joke but it sold better than the PS3 or Xbox

yeah it did, but thats only because it's marketed at the average person that never picked up a controller before and kids...
and it has an enormous ((yet mostly bad)) library, add that with the family friendliness of the console, it makes it the perfect choice for parents to buy their kids, as opposed to the more expensive and M rated games laden PS3 and 360....

i myself don't mind the Wii too much, but Nintendo should've done a much better job to regulate what kinds of games went on it's system

All three consoles, wii, ps3 and xbox have different up sides and down sides.
It's almost as if people buy different products because they all like different things. Crazy stuff.

That said, my wii is an expensive dust collector and the ps3 is one of the purchases I'm most happy about making.
