Was that poem in Norse?

Whoa, I thought Scandinavian was a bit similar to Dutch (some words and phrases), but the only thing I found familiar sounding were bensin (benzine) and banna (bannen, verbannen).

To show you I'm not kidding when I say Scandinavian looks a bit like Dutch, here's a phrase: "Tre Man Komm Vorbi" in Dutch: "Drie Mannen Kwamen Voorbij" in English: "Three Men Came By." Though in English that's not the correct meaning. I think it would be "Three Men Went By."

Nope but the language is far closer to the "original" scandinavian languages than Swedish, Norwegan or Danish.
