This seems like a cool game(I remembered the movie so I thought I should play it), I made it to part 2 but I got killed by the scorpion(and I didn't save). I'm running it on Windows XP without any additional programs, it runs fine but without sound(you don't need sound because all of the speech is in text).

Thanks for the walkthrough, I read it after I died in part 2, and I'm going to try to play it again. You don't need the broccoli in part 1, I didn't trust those shady characters in the beginning so I never went with them. I went into the sewers and picked up the key, and when the cage started to come down(somewhat slowly) I exited the screen. Even when I went back to the sewers they didn't catch me, Tiger just warned me to leave, so I did. I guess it's a glitch in the game(still fun).

The name of the game...

I have this game (original box with 3.5" floppies and manual - already uploaded at Abandonia)

The game title is (of no doubt) "An American Tail"
Another legitime option to make it (I mean the title) bigger, and according to what is written in the box, could be to add "The Computer Adventures of Fievel and his Friends"

There is no chance of confusing things.
It happens that at the lower right corner there is a little "sign" where we can read:

Based on the Hit Movies!
- An American Tail
(The escapades of ...)
- An American Tail: Fievel Goes West
(The adventures continue...)

So, it would be all right if considering the "popular" name of the movie to identify the game (aka...) in a general manner - but, in fact, it is not accurate.
