I think if I weren't German I wouldn't have learned it ever. I love English and failed learning right French (I tried 4 years and all I remember by now is how to order a hotel room - une chambre pour une nuit s'il vous plait)...

Lets see: french and latin. Thats it. I could take more, but I like becoming multi-lingual. besides, I have a talent with languages (I flatter myself :D )

back when I was in school my electives were Mythology, Literature, and anything really to do with appreciation of the arts. I wanted to go into International business so I figured the better I knew the arts the better I would be at my job. Besides it was enjoyable to me....unlike Calculus.
