Nah, I think I've seen it in a game somewhere, or at least something that greatly resembles it, but can't say which one. Played too many to remember such nitty details.

You need to be patient when copyng sprites. It takes hours.

As a kid, I remember I took a math paper (those with all the squares printed on) and used color pencils to copy a sprite from one of the DOOM games. I waited until one of the flying skulls would attack, and then when it was almost in my face, I paused the game and started coloring the pixel pattern onto the paper. Then I opened Paintbrush (Win 3.11) and created the sprite. It took me days :P

Nowadays, things go faster.
