Sorry to double-post yet again, but is really nobody else experiencing this problem? I've tried two different versions of DOSBox, the DOS command promt and restarting in DOS mode (I'm running Windows 98), and the game ALWAYS freezes at these points.:(

I'd register but i don't see myself posting that much. But anyway i have the same problem with this game. It always freezes at the same points.

Are you by any chance using D-fend to play it? I was just running the game in D-fend and it froze on two seperate places (both on Tuesday). Maybe you should try pure DOS or DOSBox without any tools (at least that's how I was able to play for two weeks - in game weeks). |
No, I'm not using D-fend. I've tried both pure DOS and DOSBox and I get exactly the same result for both.
|
That's really odd. Sorry but I can't help you there... There's a new version of DOSBox comming out soon - hopefully that will do the trick.

What's odd, though, is that you're not having this problem. |
Well after running the game for the first time on the PC I didn't experiance any trouble. Like I said - I made it to the end of the second week, without any technical problems. I didn't play it anymore after that - but I did run it through D-fend now, when you mentioned your problem. It did freeze (but at different random points always on Tuesday). I'll give it another go in the DOSBox (I'll try to set everything the way it was the time I was able to play and let you know).
|
Oh, so the game doesn't actually have to end after the first week, then?
|
Why would it? But it does simply repeat itself...
