Outpost is unique. Got boring due to a severe lack of players. Was quite amusing for a while. Unfortunately ALL servers are offline for now.

It's also offline...

They've got some other nice looking F2P MMORPGs though. 'Gates of Heavens' looks interesting... (but, seeing as how I've still got 2 AO Shadowlands-keys, I'm gonna stick with that one for yet another while :))

Ultima Online - Free shards

Find version of UO on the internet, download (must have dsl/cable)
Download Uogateway

play on free shards. Very easy and fun, don't need a top of the line computer. I used to play with my dell 400 10hd 256k ram.

Can you you give me a link to the UO download? If it's legal, of course (don't want warez links on forum).

Blood-Pigggy 28-11-2005 08:20 PM

It's actually not legal, neither are the Shards.
The shards give you access to the full game, but on a server maintained by people who found a way to create a indepent server. And UO of course, is still on sale, so I hardly think it'd be legal to download it online.

Not only that, but UO isn't that great anway. :bleh:

I'm just curious, are private servers legal? I'm pretty sure they are not, but I would kinda like to know...

My favourite is KnightOnlineworld... now named Knight Empire. Free to play, but with option for membership and powerup purchase. Also with new servers now... keep adding new servers. Have some bugs tho, but still worth it and good graphics too.

I'm also following the developlemnt of Planeshift. It's a long way from maturity yey, but it seems very promising allready and is more of less playable even in version 0.3!
Hey this game looks pretty funky! and once i manage to get revived and actually SURVIVE i might consider recommending Urban Dead. oh and if anyone playing urban dead knows someone on UD by the name of Gfish, tell him ive gotta score to settle with him. :sniper:
